Yes, registration on the GeM portal is completely free. The Government of India does not charge any fee for seller registration. However, you need to pay a refundable Caution Money Deposit (₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000 based on turnover) and Vendor Assessment fee (₹11,200 + GST) if you want OEM status.
